After our full-day road trip to Hana, we decided to take a day to do a lot of relaxing. We hung out at the pool in the morning, then headed to a private poolside grill/picnic area next to the children's pool for a delicious lunch!
Our lovely lunch area - seriously the perfect way to spend a relaxing afternoon! Turn one way and watch the kids play in the pool, or look the other direction for a beautiful ocean view.

After lunch, the girls took a dip in a hot tub.
Then another...
That evening, we went on the most awesome whale watching tour!
We sat up in the bow for a great view.
The kids enjoyed lounging on the trampoline.
We saw TONS of whales, several full breaches, lots of tale and fin flapping, and some fighting (over a female, presumably). A pod of 8-10 whales swam RIGHT past us! Suddenly, they were surfacing everywhere! It was incredible. Even the captain and hostess staff on the boat said they had never experienced so many whales that close at once. (The few pictures I have do not do it justice - we were mainly filming and do not have many pics.)
