Maui - Day 5

Another beautiful morning! After a dip in the pool, we wandered down to the koi pond to feed the fish. The children were invited to come to the koi ponds each day to help feed the koi. It was a hit with the kids!



That afternoon we decided to hit some beaches in the area. We drove a few minutes up the coast. First, we went to Kapalua Beach. Everyone got busy right away playing in the sand.



Jeremiah, of course, was the first one in the water, and gradually others joined him.

There was a dangerous shore break, so we played for a little while then decided to head down to Napili Bay, a few minutes away. We had a lovely time there.

The kids and I, along with Lisa and Andrew, hung out on the beach.



Jeremiah and Aaron took a ride in the rip tide, letting it carry them parallel to the shore from one end of the beach all the way down to the other end.


Jeremiah and Aaron decided to ride the current again, and this time Carolyn put on a life vest and joined them for the ride.

Isaiah and Kylie had lots of fun in the sand!

And the three drifters returned safely a little while later.

We hit the shower and headed back to our resort for dinner and pool time.
